What is C2 Authorization Certificate?
The C2 authorization certificate is given to those who will transport domestic and international commercial home and office goods. C2 authorization certificate is the type of document given to real and legal taxpayers who will transport goods for international and domestic commercial purposes. Applicants for the C2 authorization certificate must have at least 10 self-owned unit vehicles with a total carrying capacity of 300 tons and a capital or working capital of 100.000 Turkish Liras for the transport of commercially registered and registered goods. Applicants to obtain a C2 type authorization certificate; It is obligatory for them to notify the Ministry of their short titles, if any, to be used during their activities and, if any, the logo, emblem and similar signs that will be printed on their vehicles. Vehicles to be registered outside of the minimum capacity in the vehicle document annexed to the C2 authorization certificate cannot be more than 20 years old.The number of self-owned vehicles that will provide the minimum capacity for the C2 authorization certificate must not be older than 14 years of age during the first application and operation. For the C2 authorization certificate, pickup trucks are not taken into account when calculating the minimum capacity.
C2 authorization certificate holders can use their self-owned vehicles and commercially registered and registered contracted vehicles, not exceeding half of the number of self-owned vehicles, by registering them with their vehicle documents. Pickup trucks are not taken into account in the calculation of the contracted vehicle utilization rate for the C2 authorization certificate. Vehicles provided under the Financial Leasing Law dated 10/6/1985 and numbered 3226 are considered as contracted commercial vehicles within the framework of the principles set forth in this Regulation. Vehicles procured in this way must be registered and registered in the name of the owner of the authorization certificate as of the expiry date of the financial leasing contract.If this cannot be achieved or the expiry date of the financial leasing agreement is not extended, such vehicle or vehicles are deducted ex officio from the vehicle certificate of the owner of the authorization certificate. C2 type authorization certificate holders must have their short titles, if any, printed in a visible way on at least 1 part of their vehicles with 4 or more wheels, which they will use in their activities. The adjectives to be used in title and/or short titles must be in accordance with the scope of the authorization certificate. Authorization certificate holders cannot use more than one short title.
C2 authorization certificate holders must have a valid vehicle inspection of their vehicles to be registered/registered to the vehicle documents attached to the authorization certificates. However, vehicles that are used in international transportation activities and that cannot be inspected within the legal period due to being abroad can be registered in the vehicle certificate, provided that this situation is documented and an application is made within 30 days from the date of entry into the country.Holders of C2 type authorization certificates are required to have at least one senior manager and middle manager type professional qualification certificate or to employ a person or persons with these qualifications. The driver of the vehicles within the scope of the C2 authorization certificate is required to have a SRC3 type of professional competence certificate in foreign activities, and a psychotechnical evaluation certificate in foreign and domestic activities.
